Who is Republic Services?

Republic Services is a leading provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal services. We operate in 40 states and Puerto Rico providing top quality services to commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential customers.

Our local divisions operate under a variety of names. But, regardless of the name, we are all operating under the same mission--to provide our customers with service that exceeds their highest expectations.


What services do you provide?

Republic Services provides solid waste collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal services.

We operate 400 collection companies in 40 states and Puerto Rico and also own or operate 242 transfer stations, 213 solid waste landfills and 78 recycling facilities. Republic serves millions of residential customers under terms of contracts with more than 3,000 municipalities for waste collection and residential services. We also serve some commercial customers throughout our expansive service area.


What do I need to do to start service?

Starting service is easy. Simply contact the Republic division closest to you. Our friendly customer service representatives will help get your service started. Please use our business locator to determine the division closest to you.

How can I contact my local waste hauler?

Can you centralize the billing and communication processes?

Yes. If your goal is cost containment and improvements in service efficiencies across multi markets, states, regions, or nationally, Republic's Corporate Accounts Team can facilitate making all and more of these goals occur in an accelerated manner. Several immediate benefits include:

Will I save money with Republic?

Remember the old saying, "You get what you pay for." At Republic, we understand that quality services are important. We may not be the least expensive provider of waste management services. However, we are committed to your satisfaction and we guarantee that you'll get the best value with Republic.


Can I pay my bill on line?


This is available for some of our local divisions but not yet all of them. Customers with a 12-digit account number can pay online using:

Just Pay It: Our quick and convenient way to make one-time payments.

Or

Online Bill Pay: View your invoice and sign up for e-mail invoice notification and automatic payments.

If your account number does not have 12 digits, please contact your local division for assistance. You can use our business locator on our home page to find your service provider.


What is your Company doing with respect the the H1N1 virus?

As a responsible company that cares about our employees and the communities which we serve, the management team at Republic Services is monitoring the situation regarding the outbreak of H1N1 influenza very closely. We take the potential threat it presents to business continuity very seriously. Republic is concerned with the safety of our employees and with the business continuity of our customers. The management team at Republic is meeting frequently to review the changing situation and is drawing on information from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local public health agencies to inform its view.

Republic has comprehensive business wide plans in place to deal with disruptions to business continuity. Currently we are operating 'business as usual.' The management team is alert to the concerns of our customers and will continue to monitor the H1N1 influenza situation closely and to review our plans dynamically to ensure we remain fully prepared to respond to any change in the current situation.
